I was hired to re-design Mattbeth Construction’s website in early 2022 by Premier Marketing, one of my white label clients. The project was very interesting, because Mattbeth’s website was stunning. The primary issue was optimization; taking more than 30 seconds to load a single page.
I first attempted to optimize their current site, but it quickly became clear this would be a much larger task than just starting from scratch. The owner of the company also suggested this, and had some new ideas for the site that we could collaborate on.
Mattbeth’s primary market consists of luxury homes and businesses in Miami, so the site had to look both executive as well as have a familiar construction vibe. For the new design I took inspiration from a handful of other construction sites across the country, while blending it with the clean layout found on Louis Vuitton’s site.
Combined with a new website and a new ad campaign, Mattbeth went on to have a record year in 2022, thanks to a much better optimized website and a new conversion focused user experience.
